Trial Lesson — meet your teacher, find your level, and start from the right place.

Your first lesson is a chance for us to get to know you. No pressure and no commitment — just a relaxed one-to-one session where we talk, assess your current English, and discover the best way forward.

One-to-One First Lesson Free No Commitment

A conversation before a course.

Every student arrives with a different story. Some have studied English for years but struggle to speak confidently. Others are complete beginners. Some need English for school, work or travel, while others simply want to become more comfortable using the language.

The Trial Lesson gives us time to understand where you are before deciding where to go next. You'll meet your teacher, have a relaxed conversation, and complete a few simple activities appropriate to your age and current ability.

We use the session to observe your comprehension, vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar and speaking confidence — without making the lesson feel like an examination.

At the end, we'll explain what we noticed, answer your questions, and recommend the James Albert course or lesson format we believe suits you best. There is no obligation to continue.

  • Meet Your Teacher
Get comfortable with your teacher and experience the James Albert approach before committing to lessons.
  • Discover Your Current Level

  • Try a Real Lesson

  • Find Your Next Step
After the lesson, we'll recommend the course, level or private lesson format that best matches your needs.
