You may understand written French quite well but struggle when you hear a native speaker. Perhaps pronunciation makes you hesitant, grammar feels uncertain, or you simply want more opportunities to have a real conversation.
Private French allows the lesson to begin exactly where your French needs it. Your teacher identifies your current level, objectives and areas that need attention, then builds the programme around them.
Because the lesson is one-to-one, there is time to stop and listen again. Time to repeat a difficult sound. Time to ask why a verb changes. Time to practise a sentence until it feels comfortable — and plenty of time to speak.
Grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, listening, reading, writing and conversation can all form part of the programme, but the balance changes according to the learner. The aim isn't simply to know more French — it's to gradually make the language feel less foreign every time you use it.
